Instructions: Please fill out as best you can. Use the following abbreviations:
A. Line appearance. Line appearances (LA)
can ring (R) and be answered.
Example: (LA-R)John Smith,
Ext. 1122. Note: You may not know
the new extension numbers, so in that case, just the name. Or you could set it up as (LA-DR) for Delay
Ring (Rings 10 seconds later). Add (BS)
for Boss-Secretary Feature so you can merely push the same button again to
transfer the call back to the boss.
B. One Touch Speed Dial buttons you program yourself. You can program an outside number to speed
dial or you can program in an extension (internal phone) and see a phone in use
(lights up) and press that button to call that person, but cannot answer the
line- LEAVE THE BOX BLANK. THIS IS THE
DEFAULT
C. Second Line. (Overflow) - Enter Line 2. We'll make it ring, call foward to VM etc.
D. Headset button – Enter Headset if you plan on using a headset with your phone.
E. CALLER ID REVIEW. Enter CID and we’ll set up a button to redisplay the caller ID of the call you are talking on. Caller ID disappears in 5 seconds otherwise.
F. PAGING. If your building has ceiling speakers or horns, we can set up a PAGE button for easy access, otherwise you can dial a code.
