NEC 2400 – Problem
with International calls routing via CCIS.
We have a customer with multiple 2000’s that use a dedicated T-1 for long distance at the 2400 host site. Problem was that you can make international calls just fine from the 2400, but had problems getting to some countries from the remote 2000’s. Sounded like a 2000 problem.
Finally figured out that the digits in AMND had to be broken out by country code. Some international calls are 15, 16 or 17 digits. So we had to separate out the countries they dialed. Then it worked fine from the sites with 2000’s.
