CCIS setup for NEC 2000 - 1600 software - CP-03

1. Get latest copy of CCIS manual for NEC 2000.

2. Use this in addition to the manual

This setup is for 2 NEC 2000's with a single T-1 in between. We added a clock card, but we found out later it isn't necessary as the 2000 will provide clocking up to two hops out. Check with NEC if you need clarification.

MASTER SITE (The one with the clock card installed - usually the larger system, but in this case we put it in the smaller remote system since more card slots were available.

Switch settings:

CK-00 = (Switch -0)= 1-7 Off; 8 On.

24DTA - (SW) Switch 1-4 Off; 5-8 On

SC00 = Switch - 0 = 1-3 Off; 4-On

Switch - 1 = 1,2,5 On; 3,4,6,7,8 Off

Note: Switch 6 on SW-1 is always set to off

CP-03 - 1+2 Off; 3+4 On

Programming Note: CCIS data channel MUST be in a different trunk route. The single CCIS Common Signalling Channel (aka D Channel - the data channel for CCIS system control) must be programmed as the same type of trunk route as the B channels in 35-00; 35-04; 35-09; 35-20; 35-90; and 35-91.

SLAVE SWITCH (Without a clock card)

24DTA-A = 1,5,6,7,8 On; 2,3,4 Off

SC-00 = SW-0 = 1-3 Off, 4-On

SW-1 = 1,2,5 On, 3,4,6,7,8 Off

CP-03 = 1,2,3 Off, 4 - On (Forces the system to look for clocking at the other end)
