Simplest method is trunk route. User requirements will dictate. If by station, you need to set up separate tennants, including changes in ASYD etc.
Hardware Required: 8TLT card
Mounting Instructions: Can use any slot normally used for
stations or trunks. Bring Circuit Card Manual to job site.
Put all switches down on the 8TLT card. Music source punched
down each pair starting Blue-White on LT-0, PIM 0 for this example.
Refer to manuals for other mounting positions possible. Manual
may be required to switch in Pads for volume control, or try APAD.
If the system is using internal chimes for Music on Hold, check for switch settings to change to External.
Programming:
ASYD, SYS 1 - Index 64, Bit 7 - set to 1 (MOH 0/1 Out of Service/In Service)
ASYD, SYS 1 - Index 42, Bit 3 - Kind of MOH service (0/1 System MOH/ Not Used - Set to 0

CDN1 = 7; CDN2 = 3; CDN3= 7; CDN4=3; CDN5=3; CDN6=5; CDN7=1; CDN8=2; CDN15=8. All others set to 0
ATRK - Assign trunks for MOH. In example where 8TLT in Slot 4 of an ICS, assign to LEN 000010-17. You can assign all 8 even though all may not be used.
Make Busy - Unbusy the Above trunks.
ARSC. Allow access to MOH trunks. Set all fields 1.
ARRC. Allow connection from trunks to be used to MOH trunks.

1. FIRST, move cursor to the right to "SOUND SOURCE LENS"
2. Press Enter
3. HMSC 0 - Assign to LENS 000010 if 8TLT in slot 4, for example.
4. Assign other MOH sources to 000011 etc. Enter music source and LEN number in Job Spec.
5. NEXT, Select "EXTENSION HOLD MUSIC DATA KIND"
6. If MOH set based on trunk route, move down to Route Number of Held Trunk.
Note: MOH on internal calls remains the normal external MOH connection.
Make test calls. Check volume levels.
