Recording announcements on a 4DAT-B without changing dip switches:

Please print this and put in your book of ETI's right after ETI 113A.
This is the part that's not there yet.

If you have an ICS with D version software or higher and you are using 4DAT-B:

1. Create an access code for recording and playback in ASPA,

SIDA 66 = record
SIDA 68 = playback

2. Go into ASFC: Assign an SFC with SFI:

88 = record

90 = playback

Assign this class of service for phones that will be allowed to record announcements. Limit access to a few phones.

3. ATRK - set up route and trunks for the DATA card.
4. Make Busy - Unbusy the trunks
5. ARSC - Allow access to all

6. To use this feature, Pick up a handset at a phone with the proper SFC class of service, then enter the access code (from ASPA) and system will return stutter dial tone.
Next enter the 3 DIGIT route and 3 DIGIT trunk number and begin recording.

If this is a Dterm, LCD will indicate "record".

You might want to verify the 4DAT-B switch settings per ETI-113A.
