IPK II – Call Forward Busy

Call Forward-Busy as we know it, doesn’t work on the IPK II with the default settings. If you call a phone that is CFB to VM or another phone, you hear busy, then ring, busy, ring etc. The call waits for the CF-NA timer to take over and then finally goes to VM etc.

In order to fix this, you have to turn off two pretty much useless features that are active by default, Automatic Off Hook Signaling and Second Call for DID.

Command 20-13-06 needs to be turned off in Class 1 and 15.

Command 20-09-01 needs to be turned off in both Class 1 and 15 as well.

NEC is reviewing these default settings and this may be changed in the future.
