Virtual Extensions

 

 

  1. Program 11-04-01 assign the extension numbers for the virtual ports.
    1. Must be valid numbers in numbering plan. (11-01-01)

 

  1. Program 15-07-01 assign the virtual to a key.

 

    1. Code is *03 and then the virtual extension number.  Or use 752 then *03 and the virtual extension number.

 

  1. Program 15-09-01 per extension, per line key, per night mode you can assign whether the key will ring or not.
    1. 0 = No Ring
    2. 1 = Ring

 

  1. Program 15-08-01 per virtual assign the ring pattern.
    1. 0 = Tone Pattern 1
    2. 1 = Tone Pattern 2
    3. 2 = Tone Pattern 3
    4. 3 = Tone Pattern 4
    5. 4 = Incoming Extension Ring Tone (?????Bug written?????)

 

  1. Program 15-11-01 per extension, per line key, per night mode you can assign delayed ringing or not to the virtual.
    1. 0 = No Delay
    2. 1 = Delay Ring

 

  1. Program 20-04-03 is delay ring timer.

 

  1. Program 15-10-01 is used if multiple virtuals are assigned to ring on a phone with different patterns.  This sets the preference level to which virtual ringing pattern will ring.

 

  1. Program 15-01-01 assigns a name to the Virtual.

 

  1. Program 15-02-21 is Virtual Access Mode. Based off of the extension not the virtual. (All of these modes will flash and ring on inbound calls and show BLF indication)

 

    1. 0 = DSS Functionality and when the key is pressed it will call the virtual extension.
    2. 1 = Outgoing access and when the key is pressed you will get dial tone and be on the virtual extension and therefore busying it out.
    3. 2 = Inbound notification and when pressed it does nothing. (Acts as CAR Key if 15-18-01 is also set to 0).

 

 

  1. Program 20-10-08 is used for ringing line preference of virtuals.
    1. 0 = No Ringing line Preference
    2. 1 = Ringing Line Preference

 

  1. Program 15-18-01 is Virtual Extension Key operation mode. (This mode is programmed per virtual not per extension)
    1. 0 = When answered the call will leave the virtual and go to the phone.
    2. 1 = When answered the call will stay on the virtual.  If you have an appearance of another extension on your phone and this is set to a 1 when answered the other phone will not be able to access there line until you hang up.

 

  1. Program 15-18-02 is display mode when placing a call on a virtual key. For this feature to work see program 15-02-21.
    1. 0 = Show virtual name
    2. 1 = Show extension name

 

 

 

 

 

To make a Virtual access different trunks then the extension it is on does, do the following:

 

1.      Program 15-02-21 must be set to a (1) to allow outgoing access on the key.

 

2.      Program 21-02-01 assigns an extension or a virtual to a trunk group route.

 

3.      Program 14-05-01 assigns trunks to a trunk group.

 

4.      Program 14-06-01 assigns trunk group routing priority.

 

5.      Program 21-04-01 assigns phones to a toll restriction class.

 

6.      Program 21-05 –XX and 21-06-XX handles most of the code restriction.

 

7.      Program 15-02-30 set the extension to follow the virtual’s class not the phones.
