Training Committee -Mark reported on the new Super Tech program being developed with NEC to improve out technical capabilities in the field.
Newsletter - Maureen Gaynor - Maureen was recognized for the outstanding newsletter that went out 1st quarter. Maureen asked for articles for the next newsletter.
Internet Home Page - Steve Autor reported on progress on the Internet Home Page. The Council authorized a home page last June. We currently average 36 hits a day. The council voted to post a generic home page for all members that do not have their own home page. The new address is www.nadealer.com. Members should start using this address as the old one will be shut off. Customers are finding our web site and sending email to dealers for more information. Steve suggested that dealers make use of the discussion area in the members only section and asked for articles on unique installations and solutions that would benefit other dealers. Members with their own home pages should link to our page indicating that they can arrange for installations around the country. Members can also link to our product pages to avoid having to create and maintain those pages. We have made arrangements with connectec.com to do our home pages and they will set up home pages for our members for $275 and $30 per month for maintenance and 2 email addresses. That price will go up to $325 in April. Dealers should mail a copy of their logo to Connectec at ConnecTec Communications, Inc., 210 Interstate North Parkway, Suite 520, Atlanta, GA 30339. Email the information to choagland@connectec.com or fax to 404-685-0875
