• NEC has provided copies of all contracts (Associate, Reseller, Distributor)
• NECSI enforcement policy - membership termination procedure, the membership at large requested the board create and incorporate in the by-laws.

• NEC has implemented 100% coop of membership fees.
• Offer membership to Nitsuko dealers?

• The council made it very clear to NEC that there was a major channel conflict problem between existing NEC Associate Dealers and the previous Nitsuko Dealers.
• No branding distinction in the marketplace
• Nitsuko product has substantially lower price points combined with a good feature set and better warranty offerings.
• NECSI requested that NEC offer this product line to all existing Associate Dealers.
• Demographics
• NEC will be performing demographics by units for both product lines.
• Dealer Locator (NEC Web Site)
• NEC recognizes branding problem on the Dealer Locator. NEC will embark on a total re-write of the database supporting dealer locator to rectify this problem.
• NECSI requested that NEC distinguish between Sales and Services locations.
• NEC WEB Site Portal – NEC introduced the new information portal
• IPX Rollout (scheduled 02/13/2002) – NEC revealed Rollout plans
• Lead Campaign – Nationwide Program
• NEC revealed details of a planned National program.
• Training/Certification Issues – NEC Addressed the challenge exam issues and discuss resolutions with the board..
