Minutes of NECSI Board of Directors Meeting – Dallas, TX January 8, 2004

Meeting was called together at 7:10pm. Members present were: Lawrence Sosna, Barry Simons, Garry Laxdal, Mark Duckworth, Greg Osler, Chris Jacskon, and Steve Autor. Members absent were: Sheldon Allen, Gordon Maccani, and Steve Batista.

Discussion on membership issues, including whether or not to invite Nitsuko dealers. Majority felt it would not help either of us as they have different, but similar issues.

Discussion on marketing efforts. Mark reported that he had several potential business partners in discussion. The next step is to make a contract form to send them.

Steve Autor moved that we suggest to NEC that they consider offering a different contract to dealers that would allow sub dealers that operate in their region so they can provide support if needed. Motion passed unanimously. Note: This was passed on to NEC at the meeting the following day.
