
DEFINITIONS:
SELLING DEALER: A NECSI member who obtains a signed Multi-Locations Account
Agreement
INSTALLING DEALER: A NECSI member who installs and maintains a system sold as a part of a Multi-Location installation and maintenance request.
MULTI-LOCATION ACCOUNT: A single legal entity with multiple locations that enters into an agreement to purchase NEC phone Systems from an authorized dealer for installation in various cities outside the dealer's territory.
NETWORK EQUIPMENT & COMMUNICATION SYSTEM INTEGRATORS COMMITMENTS:
a. Maintain a list of Member service centers on the Internet and distribute
printed copies to Members.
b. Provide suggested list "not-to-exceed" pricing for installation.
PARTICIPATING DEALER MARKETING COMMITMENTS:
a. Market the Multi-Location Account Program to potential customers.
OPERATING PROCEDURES:
SELLING DEALER'S OBLIGATIONS:
a. Obtains signed agreement from customer and faxes copy to Network
Equipment & Communication Systems Integrators for registration. If an NEC
National Account, obtain firm commitment for a quantity to avoid penalties.
b. Contacts Installing Dealer to make arrangements for installation.
c. Negotiates with Installing Dealer for any special requirements such as T-1
circuits, fax, or Point of Sale outlets.
d. Furnishes Installing Dealer with floor plan and programming specifications
(including station set key assignments).
e. Ships system to Installing Dealer, along with required peripheral equipment.
f. Coordinates COG/Telco work, if required, with installing dealer.
g. Provides Single Point of Contact with customer.
h. Notifies installing Dealer of procedures, if required, for centralized
service dispatch.
i. Invoices customer and reimburses installing dealer promptly (30% at signing;
40% at cutover; and 30% at 30 days past cutover).
j. Processes leasing paperwork promptly, if required.
k. Contacts NEC if customer is willing to commit to a substantial number of
systems over a 12- month period.
INSTALLING DEALER'S OBLIGATION:
a. Arranges for installation in a timely manner.
b. Trains users in the proper use of the phone system.
c. Labels all phones as directed.
d. Instructs customer on service procedures.
e. Assists Selling Dealer with Telco orders, if required.
f. Installs wiring, if required.
g. Provides full parts and labor warranty for the first 12 months, including
Telco problems.
h. Invoices Selling Dealer promptly upon completion.
NON-COMPETE: Dealers should discuss the appropriate method for ongoing business with the account and if necessary a non-compete or limited compete document should be discussed and executed. This document, its creation and the execution and enforcement are the responsibility of the negotiating parties. NECSI and its board members shall not be held liable for the execution or enforcement of the agreement.
PRICING (US$): Equipment sale pricing is set by the selling dealer.

*** IP Installations require a network assessment in all cases. The selling and installing vendors are
responsible for negotiating the cost of this work prior to the installation. Network infrastructure
work and troubleshooting is not included as a part of this agreement.

NOTE: Options not included in above pricing: Automatic Call Distribution, Automatic Route Selection, VOIP, CCIS, FCCS, CTI,. External Paging, OAI applications, Night Bells and related devices, SMDR/ToIl Restriction, Tie Lines, T-1 trunk or CSU installation, Voice Mail Systems externally connected. Cost of options to be agreed upon between Selling Dealer and Installing Dealer. If electrical or other permits or fees are required, they will be billed back to the customer as an extra.
DATA WIRING Cable runs for Point of sale terminals, fax machines, modems will be Installed for $ 95.00 each. Pricing for data cabling or LAN cable can be requested on a time and materials basis.
VOICE WIRING INSTALLATION: Per phone installation rates are based on:
a. Maximum cable length run of 100 feet (plenum or regular)
b. Drop ceiling maximum height 10 feet
c. Adjacent 4'x6' minimum equipment room with adequate wall mount space for KSU
and/or MDF
d. No conduit outside, or buried cable installation included
e. Non-insulated walls of frame construction.
f. No coring through concrete (walls or floors) included
g. Existing wire and jack credit is $20 per run
h. Drive time less than 1.25 hours from nearest service center
i. Cut-over during normal business hours
Any additions to the normal installation will be charged and billable to the
customer.
